Final Fulfillment!

Hello, fellow Spellbinders!
One brief (possibly final) update:
I got Shawn McManus's signatures two weeks ago and Tom Mandrake's this week. This allowed me to pack all remaining orders. Those will go out tomorrow.
I ordered all T-shirts. They should ship directly from the printers in about a week.
There are about 20 people who paid for their orders through Kickstarter, but didn't complete a BackerKit survey and/or pay for shipping. I have emailed those ~20 backers directly, and I'm hoping some/most/all of you will complete the final step, so I can get you your books.
I do have a fair number of books left here for sale, both #2s and #1s. If anyone wants to place a new order or tell a friend, the BackerKit store is still currently accepting orders. Here's that link.
A big THANK YOU to everyone who supported us this time around. We lost about 50% of our backers from the first chapters, so you all are extra special in our hearts.
With a little luck, the next time we talk, it will be with news on the next chapters of The DeMultiverse.

More Fulfillment News + Canada!

First off, I just want to thank the handful of you who have already received your books and posted about them on social media. It's so gratifying to have found an audience that loves these works as much as I do, and I can't wait to see more of your feedback.
Second, I dropped all international orders at the Post Office today except for Canada shipments, due to the pending Canadian Postal Strike. I'd love to hear from the Canadian backers how to best manage this. From what I understand, a new proposal was made to the Union today, so I believe that means they will delay the strike by two weeks. If that's accurate, am I safe to get these in the mail to you tomorrow? Please comment on this update or email me directly at [email protected]. Your feedback on this matters!
Next up is T-shirts fulfillment and meeting up with Tom and Shawn for signatures. Stay tuned!

PS - Good friend of The DeMultiverse, Keith Champagne, has a very special Kickstarter running right now. It's the prequel/sequel to, what I believe was, his first ever Kickstarter campaign book, The Switch: Electricia.
Keith's success with the first Electricia campaign stuck with me for years and, no doubt, influenced my decision to enter the crowdfunded comics world. It's a great superhero (villain!) book, and it's maybe my favorite of his extensive crowdfunded universe. If you care to check it out or throw him some support, here's the link.

Tomorrow's the Day! (please read this entire update)
As seen in the photo above, all US orders* are packed and labeled and will start their adventure to you TOMORROW, Monday, May 19th.
All international orders* (seen below) are packed and just need labels. I believe I will have them all labeled and on their way to you no later than Wednesday, May 21st.
And finally, ALL backers will receive digital files tomorrow, May, 19th!
*The ONLY exceptions to the above are those backers who bought a signature from either Tom Mandrake or Shawn McManus. I have yet to meet up with them, but I expect to do so next week, the week of May 25th. And as soon as I get those, the final 10-15 packages will be sent.
If you bought a T-shirt, those will ship separately over the next two weeks directly from the printer.
Thank you all for your patience with Phase Two, of The DeMultiverse. I look forward to seeing your social media shares when you open the packages and even more so when you've read them. This is an incredible project, and I couldn't be more proud to have had a role in bringing it to life.

Shipping Update!

Hi friends,
I'm happy to report that I'm about 70% of the way through packing all the boxes. (That photo is a little old -- the pile has grown since I took that a few days ago.) That's the good news. The bad news is the remaining 30% are the hardest orders AND I have to print the labels and label everything, which--not gonna lie--is a pretty complicated task, given we have at least 23 different products ordered (not counting T-shirts). But I did it once before, so I know I can do it again!
The even better news is, packing all these boxes, has really given me time to reflect on just how cool this project is. There is just such an amazing variety of content here: the stories, the artistic styles, the covers, the trades. The DeMultiverse really is something special, and I can't thank you all enough for helping us make it a reality. I truly look forward to reading your reactions to the books when you get them.

Look what we have here!
As you can see, all the printed books are now in hand. And that’s not all! Because we offered free JM signatures on all the TPBs, the very first thing I had to do before I could start shipping was to pay a certain someone a visit…
Two-and-a-half hours and three-hundred signatures later, I’m back home with enough merchandise to start the arduous task of packing and mailing hundreds of packages alone. I still have to connect with Tom and Shawn to be able to complete all orders, but this will give me what I need to get a nice start.
I’ll update more next week, but things are moving. Oh, and the books look great! Can’t wait for you to all to experience this round.
