Survey Time!

Hello DeMulti-Fans,
I'm writing today with the news you've all (hopefully) been waiting for: Surveys are being sent!
That means: All files are 100% locked. All digital files are uploaded and will be distributed when surveys are locked. Our printer is lined up and ready to go. And I just need to get all surveys answered so I can give them final counts.
As of this writing, about 5% of backers will have received their survey as we work through the "smoke test" phase where we make sure everything is working as it should. Assuming no issues between now and tomorrow, I expect everyone to get their surveys tomorrow. And about a week after that, we'll lock them down and get our final counts.
One cool thing to highlight: JM had such a great time doing the One-on-One Zoom Calls, that he offered to do ONE MORE. That is available at the bottom of the Add-On menu, should you want to be the person who snatches that up.
Thank you ALL for your patience. I assure you it will have been worth it. I was reviewing all the files these past few days and was blown away all over again. Can't wait for you all to experience the new books.
Sincerely,
David

Hi all, just a quick update to let you know the files are now complete and, boy, do they look great! I'm tempted to show some imagery, but I don't want to spoil anything, so, er, I guess this Table of Contents from the TPB will have to suffice to whet your appetite:
I am now moving on to choosing a printer for the books. Expect more updates over the next month.
Best,
David

Hello fellow Spellbinders!
It's been a while since I sent an update, so, there being no time like the present...
After multiple serious medical situations for our skeleton crew, we are finally back at it! We've made tremendous progress over the past two weeks and I hope to have all the books ready to go to the printer in about a month. With a little good luck, I'll be fulfilling orders around April 1st. With some bad luck, a little later than that. But either way, I can assure you you're getting these books and they'll be worth the wait.
As always, questions or concerns can be sent directly to [email protected].
Until next time, enjoy the new TPB front cover and spine...

A Quick Update

Hi all! Kickstarter is telling me several of you have asked for an update, so here goes...
First, the good news: Just yesterday, we received Danny Fingeroth's amazing foreword for the Volume 2 TPB. Danny, a longtime editor at Marvel and friend of JM's, was the perfect choice to pick up where Tom DeFalco left off. Very excited for you all to get to read that as part of the collected trade.
And now the "bad," (but not too bad).
When we launched the campaign, our estimated fulfillment date was December for printed books. Unfortunately, we have run into some out-of-our-control delays. Specifically, two members of our team have had some VERY serious medical issues rear their ugly heads in their lives, and it's definitely put us behind on final assembly/printing. Due to the sensitive nature of personal issues, I won't go into them any further, but just know these issues are at the level that anyone with a heart would understand the need to be patient and give them time to work through them. Since we're a small team (more of a family, really), I'm not interested in replacing anyone due to a tragic, unpredictable situation; so I will be exercising patience and ask that you do also. December being a holiday month anyway, it was probably smarter to plan for early 2025 anyway. So that's where it's looking like it'll land now.
But not to worry, you will definitely get your books and they will definitely be as good or better than our first round.
As always, if you have questions, you are welcome to email me directly at [email protected]. Until next time, stay healthy!
Sincerely,
David
